 Objectives

Professionally, I would like to work as a Cancer researcher in an established organization that enables me to contribute towards achieving team’s objectives and be benefited by the available exposure and opportunities thus helping in self-progress and career advancement and to benefit community as a whole. Personally, my aim of Life is to combat Cancer and to serve humanity by alleviating its Misery and Sufferings.

Legacy

I am from a small village in Eastern Nepal, younger among the two brothers and born to a family of modest income.  I study most of my education through Scholarships by merit. Without such Scholarships, I could not have been able to pursue education. Since I was the youngest in my family and my passion was study, my elder brother went to Dubai to support my auxiliary expenses. With the dedication I possess, I made myself competitive in Biomedical Sciences. I trained myself with different techniques and skills required for the good position in Cancer Biology. I want to pursue a better education in a better place and fulfill my life’s goal without my financial condition diminishing my utmost desire.

Having completed Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology, I went to Ajou University, South Korea for PhD in Cancer Biology. I completed my Course work but my thesis remains. Poor Korean language hindered my comprehensive understanding and use of Molecular tools for  Cancer Biology. I have been looking for Research Universities in Different Countries to extend my Research Potential.  Since, I have gained a comprehensive understanding about Cancer progression, Chemo-resistance, Tumor micro-environment, Exosomes, Cell cycle and Cancer epigenetics, I believe that human are close to personalized Cancer Cure. I want to contribute in this era to combat Cancer.

Nepal is a poor country where people do not get funding easily. Should I get adequate support for my study, I believe to have explored all my potential.

Careers

I intend to pursue my career as a Cancer researcher in some esteemed research organization. I am mostly interested in DNA Damage Response and DNA repair Machinery. Mechanisms of Ubiquitination and Process of Metastasis are always fascinating to me. The Cancer research is lagging behind in My country. I want contribute alleviating Cancer in my country.
