About Me
Professional Profile
I am an education leader, school principal, and former cancer research student with an academic background in Medical Microbiology and Cancer Biology. My professional journey reflects a strong commitment to education, research, leadership, and community service. With experience spanning higher education, school administration, and scientific research, I strive to contribute meaningfully to both academic excellence and societal well-being.
Career Objective
Professionally, I aspire to work in environments that value knowledge, integrity, and innovation—allowing me to contribute toward institutional goals while continuously advancing my own skills and expertise. Personally, my long-standing mission has been to combat cancer through education, awareness, and research, and to serve humanity by alleviating suffering through knowledge dissemination and leadership.
Academic Background
I hold a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology and completed PhD coursework in Cancer Biology at Ajou University, South Korea, on a full scholarship. My academic training has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of cancer progression, chemoresistance, tumor micro-environment, exosomes, cell cycle regulation, epigenetics, and molecular mechanisms of disease. I am particularly interested in DNA damage response, DNA repair machinery, ubiquitination mechanisms, and metastasis. My leaning toward education and educational leadership is to kindle flame in my region. I have completed my Bachelor in Education focused on Child Psychology.
Professional Experience & Leadership
Currently, I serve as the Principal of Suryodaya English Boarding School, Kakarvitta, where I focus on academic leadership, institutional development, and student-centered learning. I am an active member of the National Private and Boarding Schools’ Association of Nepal (NPABSAN), Mechinagar Committee, serving as Course Selection Coordinator, ECA Coordinator, and Exam Committee Member. My professional experience also includes teaching science at the secondary and senior secondary levels, educational administration, curriculum implementation, and mentoring students with diverse learning needs.
Education & Community Commitment
Coming from a modest background in Eastern Nepal, my education was largely supported by merit-based scholarships. These experiences shaped my belief in education as a transformative force. While cancer research remains close to my academic identity, my current role in education allows me to apply the same principles of discipline, inquiry, and service to the development of future generations.
Skills & Areas of Expertise
My areas of expertise include K-12 and higher education, academic administration, curriculum coordination, educational technology, online and blended learning platforms, research methodology, laboratory safety, and special education support. I am trained in leadership development, fire and disaster management, child psychology, and inclusive education practices.
